Had a fun time listening to the amazingly smooth and jazzy sounds of Gideon Conn tonight. Great atmosphere and super dog friendly. Lovely choice of drinks and the staff are super ace!
Absolutely fantastic brunch here. Their classic full English hits the nail on the head with the homemade hash browns, and the Vegetarian full English is superb, being its own dish and not a vegetarian replacement to the classic breakfast. The coffee was also really good and all the staff were very friendly. It's also a great spot for drinks on an evening, and I would highly recommend it!
Highly recommend the Sunday lunch, I had the haddock and sweet potato fries, absolutely delicious, the accompanying sauce was fantastic. Really nice decor inside, cosy and deceptively larger than it seems on the outside. Don’t come if you’re absolutely starving, we waited a good while for food, but it was 100% worth it.

I approached Saison about hiring out their space for a party, they said they do not rent out the space but they were happy for us to book the second floor out for the evening, which worked perfectly. They also put us in touch with David, who is a caterer they work with. He put together an incredible meze/tapas spread for us with fresh focaccia, a range of delicious cheeses, great salads, lots of great finger food, a charcuterie board and some really good chocolate brownies. There was so much good and all our guests loved it! It worked perfectly, would definitely recommend for a birthday party etc. We had around 30 guests.
Grand selection of beers (14 lines I believe) and friendly team who are always ready to recommend the latest beverages. Could do with toasties (maybe one day, please!!!) Edit - food now served.
A very nice and cozy place to have your brunch with friends or family. Quick service and tasty food (especially the tacos). I liked the decor with the old...ish furniture. The chairs are not very comfortable but I guess for a couple of hours they're not too bad.
